LAWRENCE W. CRUSSEN "Bill", Age 85, of Hobart, IN, passed away Monday, May 6, 2008 at St Mary Medical Center. He served his country in WWII with the US Marine Corps. He was also a lifelong Cubs fan. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, children Jack (Sue) Crussen of Oklahoma, Jim (Cheryl) Crew of Valparaiso, Bill (Lydia) Crew of Hobart, Rick (Marianna) Crussen of Bloomington, Mike (Teri) Crussen of Valparaiso, Christine Nygra, Cathy (Rick) Orosz of Lake Station, and Cindy (Dave) Duarte of Valparaiso. He will be remembered fondly by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson Cole, granddaughter Courtney, sister Ruth, brother Jack Crussen, and lifelong friend Bill Butler. Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 9, 2008 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. with Pastor Gary Nagy, officiating. Cremation followed. Visitation was Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Rees Funeral Home Hobart Chapel.
