JACK R. SWIKE,
of Merrillville, Indiana Age 76 passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at
Methodist Southlake Campus. He served in the U.S. Marines as an
Intelligence Officer. He was Executive Director for the Plumbing &
Contractors Association in Northern Indiana. He authored the Missing
Chapter pertaining to the life of Harvey Oswald after many years of
research. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Anna Swike.
Survivors: wife, Dorothy Ann Swike; daughter, Jacqueline Swike; 3 sons,
Jeffrey, Matthew and Timothy (Erin) Swike. Friends visited from 2 to
8 p.m. Wednesday at Rendina Funeral Home, 5100 Cleveland St.,
Merrillville. Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral
service was at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Rev. Michael Maginot
officiating.
